Recognized February 8, 1936The Manchester-Point Arena Band of Pomo Indians gained federal recognition in 1936 but they have been stewards of the land since creation. Known to other tribes as "Bokeya", the aboriginal territory of the tribe spanned from the Gualala River to the south, Albion River to the north and inland towards Anderson Valley.

Garcia River Casino April 2011In April 2011 the tribe's economic development project, the Garcia River Casino, opened it's door to the public and provides jobs, entertainment, and a local restaurant for our coast community and visitors.
